It’s easier to blame others for our predicaments, but that is fear talking.  We have free will; we make decisions.  We are responsible for those decisions, the ones that work out and the ones that don’t. 

The responsible thing to do is to ask ourselves: “What did I do or not do to cause this to happen or not to happen?”  Then prayerfully reflect inward.  The answers lie within us but, if we are focusing our energies outside of ourselves, trying to find someone to blame, then we will never find the right answers.  Turn within; how generous are you with your resources? Do you measure out a little for others or are you generous beyond measure.  “We reap what we sow.”  What are you sowing?   Remember, what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again!” Now, I ask you , “Where and who is your real  enemy?”
