Our human life closely mirrors the physical universe.  In fact to some degree it inspires us, shapes us, educates us, and manipulates us, just as it feeds us.  Spring represents new life; the earth itself reproduces abundantly.  Perhaps we should consider how we can be more productive.  The sun shines more brightly in Spring and awakens the dead or dormant earth and trees, and  melts the frozen water. Perhaps we can choose to be awakened to the possibilities of the universe or find meaning in awakening others who are asleep to their potential.  Perhaps we can let down our barriers and dissolve our fears, and melt our hard hearts and replace them with hearts full of love, faith, and compassion and  influence others to do the same.
